NEW k.d. lang Summer 2012 Tour Dates
Very excited to be getting back to touring with the lovely k.d. lang.
She is not to be missed. If you’ve never seen her in person, I urge you, go. I would not steer you wrong; trust Josh.

I recently got to play a number of shows with the amazing Lionel Richie. It’s hard to imagine how many popular songs this man has written, and how his music has provided the backdrop for many of our collective memories, as a human in the Western world, and beyond, I’m sure. I loved that I got to play pedal steel, as its presence is a slight tangent in the world most associated with Lionel. His new record is Country Duets with many of today’s popular modern country artists, many of them unknown to me before this project. He is a cool guy! Funny, warm, and most of all genuine. He truly lives for the music, and I respect that above all else. Passion!
We are in Singapore and Australia in November on the last leg of our 2011 tour…. Ending our year on an exotic note.
I’m playing steel on the new stephen malkmus and the jicks record ‘mirror traffic’. i went over to becks house and recorded a bit for the record. he was incredibly creative and insightful.
kd lang’s newest album is out and features a few songs i co-wrote. to say we had fun making this record is approaching accurate. it was a blast! mystery blaster PLEASE adjust your angle!

The new Pistol Annies CD is out and burning up the charts. I’m playing guitar on it and pedal steel, even though they failed to credit me with steel. burn! ouch. thanks girls…! they are sweet and sassy and i am very fond of them.
kd lang’s first greatest hits collection ‘Recollection’ features a song i co-wrote w kd entitled ‘Beautifully Combined’…
i contributed a couple pedal steel tracks to the new Jayhawks album. Gary and Mark together again. whee!
